§ 26-6-103. “Foreign judgment” defined.

As used in this part, “foreign judgment” means any judgment, decree, or order of a court of the United States or of any other court which is entitled to full faith and credit in this state. Acts 2019, ch. 278, § 5 provided that the act applies to all actions commenced on or after July 1, 2019, in which the issue of recognition of a foreign-country judgment is raised. Amendments.
