§ 5-8-107. Use of revenue, generally.

Any revenue of a county, the use of which is not otherwise expressly restricted, and that is derived from taxes levied by the state and distributed to the various counties, from which taxes the cities likewise receive a portion thereof from the state collection, and any revenue of a county derived solely from taxes on privileges exercised in that county outside the corporate limits of any city, may be spent in such manner as the local governing body of each county shall direct, including, but not limited to, the retirement of bonds issued by such county, regardless of the obligation recited in the bond issue for the servicing and retirement thereof.
