§ 57-587. Penalty
A. Any person required to register pursuant to the provisions
of the Sex Offenders Registration Act who violates any provision of
said act shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a Class B5 felony
offense. Any person convicted of a violation of this section shall
be punished by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of
Corrections for not more than five (5) years, a fine not to exceed
Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or both such fine and
imprisonment.
B. Any person required to register pursuant to the Sex
Offenders Registration Act who fails to comply with the established
Oklahoma Statutes - Title 57. Prisons and Reformatories
guidelines for Global Positioning System (GPS) monitoring shall,
upon conviction, be guilty of a Class B5 felony offense punishable
by a fine not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or by
imprisonment in the custody of the county jail for not more than one
(1) year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
