§ 4729.04.

All of the following apply with respect to the executive director of the state board

of pharmacy: (A) The executive director is the chief administrative officer of the board. (B) The executive director is an appointing authority, as defined in section 124.01 of the Revised Code , and may appoint employees necessary to carry out the board's functions. (C) The executive director, with the board's approval, may prescribe rules for the conduct

of board employees, the performance of its business, and the custody, use, and preservation

of its records, papers, books, documents, and property. (D) The executive director shall carry out official duties as an appointing authority

subject to internal management rules adopted by the board. (E) The executive director shall give a blanket bond to the state covering all employees

of the agency in the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars, conditioned for the faithful

discharge of the duties of their offices. (F) For purposes of division (A)(25) of section 109.71 of the Revised Code , the executive director shall designate employees of the board to investigate violations

of Chapters 2925., 3715., 3719., 3796., 4729., and 4752. of the Revised Code and rules

adopted thereunder.
