§ 3710.14.

(A) At the request of the director of environmental protection, the attorney general

may commence a civil action for civil penalties and injunctions, in a court of common

pleas, against any person who has violated, is violating, or is threatening to violate

this chapter, any rule adopted under this chapter, or any license or certificate issued

under this chapter. (B) The court of common pleas in which an action for injunctive relief is filed has jurisdiction

to, and shall grant, preliminary and permanent injunctive relief upon a showing that

the person against whom the action is brought has violated, is violating, or is threatening

to violate any provision of this chapter, any rule adopted under this chapter, or

any license or certificate issued under this chapter. (C) Upon a finding of a violation, the court shall assess a civil penalty of not more

than five thousand dollars against the person. (D) Each day a violation continues is a separate violation under this section. (E) The remedies provided in Chapter 3710. of the Revised Code are in addition to remedies

otherwise available under any federal, state, or local law.
