§ 2153.02.
The juvenile court shall consist of six judges, each of whom, at the time of his election
or appointment, shall be a qualified elector and resident of Cuyahoga county and shall
have been admitted to practice as an attorney at law in this state for a period of
at least six years immediately preceding his appointment or commencement of his term. They shall be elected and designated as judges of the court of common pleas, juvenile
court division, and shall exercise the same powers and jurisdiction and receive the
same compensation as other judges of the court of common pleas.
