§ 15-10-10.1. State commissioner of higher education - Contract terms - Institution

position. The state board of higher education may enter into a personnel contract with the state commissioner of higher education. The personnel contract may provide for the commissioner to become a faculty or staff member at an institution under the control of the state board of higher education when the contract term is complete. The salaries and wages of a person who becomes a faculty or staff member pursuant to this section must be paid from the appropriation to the North Dakota university system office. The North Dakota university system office may not assess institutions under the control of the state board of higher education to recover the cost of the salaries and wages paid pursuant to this section.
