§ 90-113. 46. Application of requirements of Article.

All persons credentialed by the North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board, Inc., as of July 1, 1994, shall be credentialed by the Board pursuant to this Article. All these persons are subject to all the other requirements of this Article and of the rules adopted pursuant to it. History (1993 (Reg. Sess., 1994), c. 685, s. 1; 1997-492, s. 15; 2005-431, s. 1; 2019-240, s. 8(o).) Editor's Note. - Session Laws 2019-240, s. 8(p), made the amendment to this section by Session Laws 2019-240, s. 8(o), effective January 1, 2020, and applicable to licenses granted or renewed on or after that date. Effect of Amendments. - Session Laws 2005-431, s. 1, effective September 22, 2005, substituted "credentialed" for "certified" in two places and "Practice" for "Certification" following "Abuse Professional." Session Laws 2019-240, s. 8(o), substituted "Addictions Specialist" for "Substance Abuse" in the first sentence. For effective date and applicability, see editor's note.
