§ 58-62-2. Title.

This Article shall be known and may be cited as the North Carolina Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association Act. History (1991, c. 681, s. 56.) Editor's Note. - Session Laws 1991, c. 681, s. 58 provides: "The Commissioner and the Commissioner's staff shall maintain close relations with the insurance regulators of other states and shall actively participate in the activities and affairs of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, the National Conference of Insurance Legislators, and other organizations or successor organizations insofar as it will, in the Commissioner's judgment, enhance the purposes of the regulation of insurance. The actual and necessary travel and related expenses incurred by the Commissioner and members of the Commissioner's staff in attending meetings of such organizations, their committees, subcommittees, hearings, and other official activities, as well as the general expenses of participation in such organizations shall be a charge on available funds and the appropriation of the Department." § 58-62-5: Repealed by Session Laws 1991, c. 681, s. 57.
