§ 54-73. Banking laws applicable.
The banking laws as defined in G.S. 53C-1-4(5) , insofar as applicable and not in conflict with the provisions hereof shall apply to land mortgage associations. History (1925, c. 223, s. 25; 2012-56, s. 35.) Effect of Amendments. - Session Laws 2012-56, s. 35, effective October 1, 2012, substituted "The banking laws as defined in G.S. 53C-1-4(5) " for "The statutes relating to banks and banking in this State, that is, G.S. 53-1 to 53-158 [G.S. 53-1 to 53-242]."
