§ 32C-4-401. Uniformity of application and construction.
In applying and construing this Chapter, consideration may be given to the need to promote uniformity of the law with respect to its subject matter among the states that enact it. History (2017-153, s. 1.) NORTH CAROLINA COMMENT This section modified Section 401 of the Uniform Power of Attorney Act by replacing the word "must" with "may" so that in applying and construing this Chapter, consideration may be given to the need to promote uniformity of the law with respect to its subject matter among the states that enacted it. Editor's Note. - Session Laws 2017-153, s. 3, provides, in part: "The Revisor of Statutes shall cause to be printed, as annotations to the published General Statutes, all relevant portions of the Official Comments to the Uniform Power of Attorney Act (2006) and all explanatory comments of the drafters of this act as the Revisor may deem appropriate."
