§ 143B-1375. Security.

Confidentiality. - No data of a confidential nature, as defined in the General Statutes or federal law, may be entered into or processed through any information technology system or network established under this Article until safeguards for the data's security satisfactory to the State CIO have been designed and installed and are fully operational. This section does not affect the provisions of G.S. 147-64.6 or G.S. 147-64.7 . History (2015-241, s. 7A.2(b).) Editor's Note. - Session Laws 2015-241, s. 7A.2(b), enacted this section as G.S. 143B-1339. The section has been renumbered as G.S. 143B-1375 at the direction of the Revisor of Statutes. Session Laws 2015-241, s. 1.1, provides: "This act shall be known as 'The Current Operations and Capital Improvements Appropriations Act of 2015.'" Session Laws 2015-241, s. 33.6, is a severability clause.
