§ 14-159. 10. Enforcement of Article.
This Article may be enforced by sheriffs or deputy sheriffs, law enforcement officers of the Wildlife Resources Commission, and other peace officers with general subject matter jurisdiction. History (1979, c. 830, s. 11; 2011-231, s. 3.) Effect of Amendments. - Session Laws 2011-231, s. 3, effective October 1, 2011, and applicable to offenses committed on or after that date, in the section catchline, deleted "by peace officers; wildlife protectors authorized to execute process" from the end; and in text, substituted "sheriffs or deputy sheriffs, law enforcement officers of the Wildlife Resources Commission" for "deputy sheriffs," and deleted the last sentence, which read: "Law enforcement officers of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission may execute process issued by the court for violations of this Article."
