§ 130A-314. Scope of the Article.

The provisions of this Article shall apply to each public water system in the State unless the public water system meets all of the following conditions: Consists only of distribution and storage facilities and does not have any collection and treatment facilities; Obtains all of its water from, but is not owned or operated by, a public water system to which the drinking water rules apply; Does not sell water to any person; and Is not a carrier which conveys passengers in interstate commerce. A provision of any charter granted to a public water system in conflict with the provisions of this Article is repealed. History (1979, c. 788, s. 1; 1983, c. 891, s. 2.)
