§ 115C-590. North Carolina Personal Education Savings Account Program established.
There is established the North Carolina Personal Education Savings Accounts Program to provide the option for a parent to better meet the individual educational needs of the parent's child. History (2017-57, s. 10A.4(a).) Editor's Note. - This article was originally enacted by Session Laws 2017-57, s. 10A.4(a) as Article 39A. It was renumbered as Article 41 at the direction of the Revisor of Statutes. This section was originally enacted by Session Laws 2017-57, s. 10A.4(a) as G.S. 115C-567.5. It was renumbered as G.S. 115C-590 at the direction of the Revisor of Statutes. Session Laws 2017-57, s. 10A.4(e), made this Article, as added by Session Laws 2017-57, s. 10A.4(a), applicable beginning with the 2018-2019 school year.
