§ 106-798. 2. Penalty for misuse of identification.
Any person who misuses the identification required under this Article shall be subject to a civil penalty of one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each occurrence. A person misuses identification required under this Article by knowingly providing it to other than the owner of the swine or by engaging in other activity that is in violation of this Article. Editor's Note. - Session Laws 2011-369, s. 7, as amended by Session Laws 2011-326, s. 19.7, provides: "G.S. 106-798.1 and G.S. 106-798.2 , as enacted by Section 1 of this act, become effective October 1, 2012. The remainder of this act becomes effective October 1, 2011. This act applies to acts that occur on or after the effective date." § 106-799: Reserved for future codification purposes.
