§ 1-437. Liability of bail to sheriff.
The bail taken upon the arrest are, unless they justify, or other bail are given or justified, liable to the sheriff by action for damages which he may sustain by reason of such omission. History (C.C.P., s. 173; Code, s. 315; Rev., s. 755; C.S., s. 795.)
