§ 73-2-62. Appeal from appraisement to district court
Any person or persons aggrieved by the amount of damages assessed or allowed by any
appraisers appointed as provided for in the foregoing sections, may appeal by himself,
his agent or attorney to the district court of the county where the same was rendered,
in the same manner as appeals are taken from judgments rendered in justice of the
peace courts [magistrate courts], provided that the only issue on any such appeal
shall be the amount of damages sustained by such landowner or owners.
