§ 73-2-38. Labor to be in proportion to land ownership
As the excavations of such acequias, and in the first cleansing of some of them, the
work sometimes continues for thirty days, more or less, the different mayordomos shall
take into consideration the small amount of land tilled by some, and not compel these
to furnish an equal amount of labor in the cleansing.
