§ 66-3-9. Registration indexes

The department shall file each application received for registration of a vehicle. When satisfied as to the genuineness and regularity of the application and that

the applicant is entitled to register the vehicle and to the issuance of a certificate

of title, the department shall register the vehicle described and keep a suitable

record thereof.
