§ 62-6-23. Authority to enter premises

The commission and its officers and employees of the commission may during all reasonable

hours, after reasonable notice to the utility, enter upon any premises occupied by

any utility for the purpose of making examinations and tests and exercising any power

provided for in this act, and may set up and use on such premises any apparatus and

appliances necessary therefor. Such public utility shall have the right to be represented at the making of such

examination, tests and inspections, and shall be given sufficient time before the

making thereof to secure the presence of a representative of its selection.
