§ 19-4-19. Reservation for park or public purpose

The corporate authorities of any town or board of trustees, may set apart and reserve

any of said lots or blocks, not to exceed four blocks in all, nor situated in more

than eight different blocks in any one town, for the public use of said town, for

a town park, or other purposes, for the benefit of the public, in lieu of offering

them for sale, and shall execute to such town a deed for said lots so reserved.
