§ 16-2-22. Bonding authority

Whenever the secretary determines by written order that it is necessary to raise funds

to provide for developing, operating and maintaining state parks or recreation areas,

the state park and recreation division [state parks division] of the energy, minerals

and natural resources department may issue and sell bonds of the state as provided

for in the State Park and Recreation Bond Act. The purposes for which the bonds are to be issued and the amount of each bond issue

shall be approved by the state board of finance before issuance of the bonds.
