§ 51-1-58. Conformity with federal laws
If any provisions of this chapter are determined to be in nonconformity with federal
statutes, as determined by the United States secretary of labor or his designee, the
secretary, with the approval of the governor, is authorized to administer the state
law to conform with any mandatory conformity provisions of the federal statutes until
such time as the legislature meets in its next regular session and has an opportunity
to amend the state law.
