§ 3-15-8. Boundaries; prior rights and property; saving clause

The territorial limits of the municipality shall remain the same as under its former

organization until changed in accordance with law, and all rights and property of

every description which were vested in any municipality under its former organization

shall remain vested in the municipality under the organization herein contemplated

and provided for, and no contract or franchise, and no right or liability, either

in favor of or against the municipality, and no suit or prosecution of any kind shall

be affected by any such reorganization.
