§ app:a-46.

All instruments of every kind in anywise affecting the title to any real estate situate

in this state, or any interest therein, or containing any agreement in relation thereto,

or granting any right or interest therein, may be acknowledged or proved and then

recorded in the office of the county recording officer of the county wherein the real

estate is situate. The acknowledgment or proof of any such instrument may be taken in the manner provided

by this title for the acknowledgment or proof of deeds of conveyances of real estate,

before any officer authorized by this title to take such acknowledgments or proofs,

and such instruments, when so acknowledged or proved, may be recorded in the manner

provided by this title, and all the provisions of this title relating to the deeds

or instruments mentioned in section 46:16-1 of this title and to the record thereof shall apply to the instruments mentioned

in this section.
