§ acts:saved-54. (16)

16. The provisions of this act shall not be construed as including or affecting any city

in this state, and shall not apply to or affect the right, title or interest of any

bona fide purchaser, mortgagee or lienor of any lot or tract of land, whose purchase,

mortgage or lien was made or accrued subsequent to the expiration of the lien of taxes

provided for by the law subsisting at the time of the making of such purchase or mortgage

or the attachment of such lien.
