§ acts:saved-40. (37.1)

1. That the boundary line between the counties of Essex and Union, and the townships

of Springfield and Summit, in the county of Union, and the township of Millburn, in

the county of Essex, between the points hereinafter mentioned, shall hereafter be

as follows, viz.: beginning at a point in said boundary line at the intersection

of the southeasterly line of Springfield avenue, formerly called Washington street

(in the act to which this is an amendment), with the southerly line of the Morris

and Elizabeth turnpike road; thence running southwesterly in a prolongation of the

said southeasterly side of said Springfield avenue, to the southerly side of the said

Morris and Elizabeth turnpike road; thence running westerly along said southerly

side, to the center of the bridge over the Passaic and Delaware railroad, formerly

New Jersey West Line railroad; thence running northerly at right angles to said turnpike

road to the north side of said turnpike road; thence running westerly along the said

northerly side of said turnpike road to its intersection with the boundary line of

the county of Morris.
