§ acts:saved-27. (15)
15. To provide funds to meet the interest and principal payment requirements for the
bonds issued under this act and outstanding there is hereby appropriated from the
receipts of the tax on motor vehicle fuels as provided by “An act to impose a tax
on the sale of motor vehicle fuels as herein defined to be paid by the distributors
as herein defined; regulating the sale of such fuels; providing for the collection
of said tax, for reports of sales of said motor fuels, and for the disposition of
the revenues derived from such tax, and fixing penalties for the violation of the
terms thereof,” approved April first, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven (chapter
334, P.L.1927), with supplements thereto and amendments thereof, such funds as shall
be necessary for such purposes, and the state treasurer is hereby authorized to retain
such amounts as shall be required to meet such interest and principal payments.
