§ acts:saved-15. (9)

2. That it shall be lawful for, and it is hereby made the duty of the manager or managers

to be appointed by the first section of said act, to build, maintain and keep in repair

good and sufficient bridges over all creeks, brooks, and ditches, that shall be otherwise

impassable, and to construct dikes, dams, or sluiceways, to prevent the overflow of

tides, and the moneys required for the purpose shall be raised and expended in the

same manner as the moneys required to be raised and expended by the act to which this

is a supplement.
