of Children and Families may request that the chief administrator of the institution formulate a plan of remedial
action. The plan may include, but shall not be limited to, action to be taken with respect

shall notify the department of the progress in complying with the terms of the department's
request. The department and chief administrator shall determine a time frame for completion

plan or make the changes requested by the department, the department may impose appropriate
sanctions or actions if the department licenses, oversees, approves or authorizes
