§ 5:12-18.
“ Equity security ” --(a) Any voting stock of a corporation, or similar security; (b) any security which has been converted , with or without consideration, into such a security, or carrying any warrant or
right to subscribe to or purchase such a security which warrant or right has been exercised ; or (c) any security having a direct or indirect participation in the profits of the issuer . The holder of a security described in subsection (b) of this section shall not be
required to qualify as a holder of an equity security prior to any such conversion
or exercise of any such warrant or rights .
