§ 52:18-29.

All moneys of the state collected or received by any state institution, board, commission,

department, committee, agent or servant, from any source, shall except as otherwise

provided by law be paid into the state treasury not later than the tenth day of the

month following the month during which such moneys were collected or received, and

shall not be disbursed therefrom unless specifically appropriated by the legislature

in an annual or supplemental appropriation act; provided, that moneys collected or

received by the department of motor vehicles during the month of December of any year

shall be paid into the state treasury not later than the tenth day of February following

such month in which the moneys were collected or received.
