§ 4:5-75.
Stockyards, pens, cars, vessels, and other public premises and conveyances shall be
cleaned and disinfected, whenever necessary for the arrest and eradication of foot-and-mouth
disease, by the owners thereof at their own expense, under the supervision of an authorized
agent or representative of the department. Farms and other privately owned premises and materials, unless satisfactorily cleaned
and disinfected by the owners under the supervision of an authorized agent or representative
of the department, shall be cleaned and disinfected by such agent or representative
at the expense of the department, or at the joint expense of the department and the
United States Department of Agriculture.
