§ 4:1c-29.
a. The municipally approved program shall remain in effect for a minimum of 8 years,
provided that a review of the practicability and feasibility of its continuation shall
be conducted by the board and the municipal governing bodies within the year immediately
preceding the termination date of the municipally approved program. b. If subsequent to notification by the board, none of the parties to the agreement
entered into pursuant to section 17 of this act 1 notify the board within this 1 year period that they wish to terminate the municipally
approved program, the municipally approved program shall continue in effect for another
8-year period and may continue for succeeding 8-year periods, provided that no notice
of termination is received by the board during subsequent periods of review. c. Termination of the municipally approved program at the end of any 8-year period
shall occur following the receipt by the board of any notice of termination. The municipal tax assessor shall be notified by the board if the municipally approved
program is terminated. d. Nothing in this section shall be construed to preclude the reformation of a municipally
approved program, as initially created pursuant to the provisions of this act. e. Any landowner not included in a municipally approved program may request inclusion
at any time during the review conducted pursuant to subsection a. of this section. If the board and the municipal governing body find that this inclusion would promote
agricultural production, the inclusion shall be approved. 1
