§ 48:5a-28.
a. All of the elements required to be included in the franchise application pursuant
to P.L.1972, c. 186 ( C.48:5A-1 et seq. ) shall form, in part, the foundation for the board's decision as to the certificate
of approval or system-wide franchise. b. The failure of a cable television company to abide by or conform its practices
to the commitments in the application shall be considered a violation of the certificate
of approval or system-wide franchise, and the board may enforce these provisions through
any appropriate method, including the imposition of monetary penalties under section
51 of P.L.1972, c. 186 ( C. 48:5A-51 ), or the suspension or revocation of the certificate of approval or system-wide franchise.
