§ 3a:39-3.
If a war absentee should return, the trustee shall restore to him the property, after
deduction of the reasonable expenses of the trust and the compensation of the trustee;
or the court may direct the transfer or other disposition of the property to any person
exhibiting a sufficient power of attorney signed by the absentee, or to the fiduciary
of the absentee, or to the conservator of the property of a nonresident war absentee
appointed or acting under the laws of the nonresident's domicile, or to any person
who shall establish his right to the control, possession or ownership of the property
by reason of the death of the war absentee, or otherwise.
