§ 3a:21-1.

When a minor or mental incompetent holds in any manner, in trust or otherwise, a mortgage

or other lien on real estate, or holds real estate in trust for others, the superior

court may authorize or compel the minor, his guardian or someone for him, or the guardian

of the mental incompetent, to execute and deliver a release, satisfaction or assignment

of the mortgage or other lien or a conveyance or assurance of the real estate to the

person thereto entitled, in such manner as the court may determine.
