§ 30:9-6.

The board of chosen freeholders or governing body of a county, by a resolution or ordinance, as appropriate, adopted by the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the full authorized membership of the board may consolidate its county psychiatric hospitals in one place on suitable lands owned by the county and erect, furnish , and maintain suitable hospital buildings thereon. County bonds for this purpose may be issued to an amount not exceeding six-tenths of one per cent of the

ratables of the county.
