§ 2a:42-76.

Within 60 days following the effective date of this act the Bureau of Housing shall

promulgate a State Housing Code which shall be effective in any municipality adopting

an ordinance under this act. Said code shall set standards consistent with minimum health and safety requirements

and covering, but not limited to, matters such as water supply, plumbing, garbage

storage, lighting, ventilation, heating, egress, maintenance and use and occupancy.
