§ 18a:27-9.
If the employment of a teaching staff member is terminated on notice, pursuant to
a contract entered into with the board of education, it shall be optional with the
board whether or not the member shall continue to perform his duties during the period
between the giving of the notice and the date of termination of employment thereunder.
