§ 17:9a-334.

A foreign bank shall pay to the commissioner for the use of the State a fee, to be

prescribed by the commissioner by regulation, in an amount not less than or not more

than, the following minimum and maximum amounts: The commissioner shall charge for the issuance of a certificate of authority or a

certificate of renewal of a certificate of authority such fee as the commissioner

shall prescribe by rule or regulation, not to exceed $1,500.00. The certificate shall run from the date of issuance for a term of not less than two years as set by the commissioner by regulation . The commissioner may by rule or regulation adopted pursuant to the “Administrative

Procedure Act,” P.L.1968, c. 410 ( C.52:14B-1 et seq. ) impose other fees and charges, including assessments and nonrefundable fees for application and examinations, on out-of-State banks establishing branch

offices or agency offices in this State.
