§ acts:saved-15. (35)

4. That in all cases of an election for officers, or for other purposes, the mode of

voting shall be in person or by proxy in writing, duly executed, in the following

ratio: Every person owning or possessing meadow or marsh in the said company, as

described by the said commissioners, shall be entitled to one vote for any quantity,

not exceeding five acres, which he, she, or they may possess, and one vote for each

and every five acres, not exceeding twenty acres, and one vote for each and every

additional ten acres.
