§ 630.2691. Requirements for licensing
To be eligible for licensing by the Board as a perfusionist, an applicant must: 1. Be a natural person of good moral character; 2. Submit a completed application as required by the Board by the date established
by the Board; 3. Submit any required fees by the date established by the Board; 4. Have successfully completed a perfusion education program approved by the Board,
which must: (a) Have been approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
of the American Medical Association before June 1, 1994; or (b) Be a program that has educational standards that are at least as stringent as
those established by the Accreditation Committee-Perfusion Education and approved
by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs of the American
Medical Association, or its successor; 5. Pass an examination required pursuant to NRS 630.2692 ; and 6. Comply with any other requirements set by the Board.
