§ 604A.573. Required notices

A licensee who has been issued a license to operate a deferred deposit loan service

pursuant to this chapter shall place the following notices on marketing materials

and television, print, radio and Internet advertising when space or time reasonably

permits: 1. Deferred deposit loans should be used for short-term financial needs only and not

as a long-term financial solution; and 2. Customers with credit difficulties should seek credit counseling before entering

into any deferred deposit loan transaction.
