§ 483.525. Proof of financial responsibility required for restoration of revoked license, permit or privilege; maintenance; suspension for failure to maintain
The Department may not restore a driver's license, permit or privilege of driving
a motor vehicle in this State which has been revoked unless the person who is seeking
the license, permit or privilege submits proof of financial responsibility as provided
in NRS 485.307 . The person shall maintain proof of financial responsibility for 3 years after the
date of reinstatement of the license, permit or privilege. If the person fails to do so, the Department shall suspend his or her license, permit
or privilege.
