§ 396.040. Number of Regents; election from certain districts; residency requirements
the districts described in the shapefile adopted by NRS 396.047 . 2. The members of the Board of Regents must be elected as follows: (a) At the general election in 2002, and every 6 years thereafter, one member of the
Board of Regents must be elected from districts 2, 3, 5 and 10. (b) At the general election in 2004, and every 6 years thereafter, one member of the
Board of Regents must be elected from districts 6, 7, 8, 11 and 13. (c) At the general election in 2006, and every 6 years thereafter, one member of the
Board of Regents must be elected from districts 1, 4, 9 and 12. 3. Each member of the Board of Regents must be a resident of the district from which
the member is elected.
