§ 412.5645. Administration of oaths

1. The following persons may administer oaths for the purposes of military administration,

including military justice: (a) Any judge advocate; (b) Any summary court-martial; (c) Any adjutant, assistant adjutant, acting adjutant and personnel adjutant; (d) Any commanding officer of the naval militia; and (e) Any other person so designated by regulations of the Armed Forces of the United

States or by the laws of this State. 2. The following persons may administer oaths necessary in the performance of their

duties: (a) The president, military judge and trial counsel for all general and special courts-martial; (b) The president and the counsel for the court of any court of inquiry; (c) Any officer designated to take a deposition; (d) Any person detailed to conduct an investigation; (e) Any recruiting officer; and (f) Any other person so designated by regulations of the Armed Forces of the United

States or by the laws of this State. 3. The signature without seal of any person, together with the title of his or her

office, is prima facie evidence of the authority of that person.
