§ 7-3-4252. Powers Of Council

Powers of council. The council has and shall exercise all executive, legislative, and judicial powers and duties possessed and exercised by the mayor, city council, board of public works, park commissioners, board of police and fire commissioners, board of waterworks trustees, board of library trustees, attorney, treasurer, auditor, city engineer, and other executive and administrative offices in cities organized under the general municipal incorporation laws.
