§ 7-12-4502. Notice Of Intention To Abandon District

Notice of intention to abandon district. (1) After the passage of the resolution provided for in 7-12-4501 , the city or town clerk shall publish a notice as provided in 7-1-4127 of the intention to abandon. (2) The notice must specify the boundaries of the district to be abandoned, the date of the passage of the resolution of intention to abandon, and the date set for the passage of the resolution of abandonment and that unless 40% of the owners in the district file written protest with the clerk of the city or town before the passage of the resolution, it will be passed. The notice must also set forth, when applicable, that it is the duty of the owners of the property abutting on the street parking district involved to maintain the property after the abandonment.
